Job summary

JR Metal Works LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an Aerospace Aluminum Welder to fit, fabricate, and weld aluminum and stainless steel assemblies with tight tolerances. Strong blueprint reading and welding skills are required.

Candidates should have experience with MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW, precise fit-up, and ability to maintain quality welds. The role is on-site with opportunities for growth and advancement within a fast-moving shop.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read blueprints, shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience welding non-ferrous metals, especially aluminum and stainless steel.
• Proficient with TIG/GTAW and MIG/GMAW welding.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and welding symbols to determine material requirements and sequence.
• Fit, fabricate, tack and weld aluminum and stainless steel components.
• Perform MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW welding as required.
• Prepare and position materials to ensure weld quality and fit-up.
• Inspect welds for quality, appearance, and conformance to specs.
