JR Metal Works LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Food Grade Stainless Steel Welder to join our growing team. You will fit, fabricate, and weld custom non-ferrous assemblies with emphasis on aluminum and stainless steel, reading blueprints and weld symbols to guide work.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of fabrication experience, excels at precision fit-up, and can perform MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW welding while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols to determine weld requirements.
• Proven track record welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ability to perform MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW welding.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and shop drawings to determine material requirements and sequence.
• Fit, fabricate, tack, and weld aluminum and stainless components.
• Operate MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW processes as required.
• Prepare materials, ensure weld quality and fit-up.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervision promptly.
• Support continuous improvement for weld quality and productivity.
