Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Custody Operations Analyst 3 to support trading and processing activities across Mutual Fund Trading, Money Market Trading, New Account Setup, and Corrections Processing.

The role involves daily operational tasks, risk management, and ensuring accurate servicing of WCIB client accounts at a Milwaukee-area facility. The position requires at least three years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of custody operational functions, systems, procedures, and for assigned area(s).
• Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of regulatory and accounting principles affecting Wealth Management & Investment Services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, preferably Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage mutual fund and money market agreement reviews, amendments, and due diligence questionnaires.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and stakeholders to evaluate agreement language and ensure operational requirements are addressed and supported.
• Oversee mutual fund new account setups, process trade corrections, and resolve operational exceptions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely servicing.
• Identify process improvements, mitigate operational risk, and drive issue resolution.
• Work independently to lead team projects, initiatives, and cross-functional efforts with management collaboration.
• Provide leadership support and act as a backup to the manager during absences, maintaining workflow continuity and service standards.
