Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a professional to support day-to-day financial and compliance operations for mutual funds, ETFs, and related funds. You will coordinate with investment advisors, custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, and legal auditors to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves budgeting oversight, expense trend analysis, and preparation of financial statements while ensuring SEC/GAAP compliance. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
• One to two years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and accounting principles affecting mutual funds and clients.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using software packages including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day financial and compliance operations for mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds and/or BDC clients.
• Acts as primary contact with fund clients coordinating activities with service providers such as investment advisor, custodian, transfer agent, fund accountant, attorneys and auditors.
• Monitors and reviews fund budgets based on contracts, fee proposals and expense trends.
• Helps prepare and/or review financial statements and test/review portfolio compliance with SEC, GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
