Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Institutional Account Administrator II to support Relationship Managers on a complex custody accounts group. You will liaise with clients and back-office operations to ensure regulatory compliance and high service levels.

You will verify daily processing, assist with projects, mentor new staff, and manage confidential information while upholding the bank's risk policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Custody Administrator I or 4 years in financial services (securities processing, mutual fund operations or brokerage).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects with varying priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information and exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand client expectations to exceed service level standards.
• Verify and approve daily processing activities within the custody team.
• Lead or assist with special projects and process improvements.
• Train/mentor new team members in Custody Administrator functions.
• Serve as primary contact for custody account relationships and resolve client issues promptly.
