Job summary

PeopleAdmin, Inc. is seeking a Custodian (Temporary) to maintain a clean and sterile environment across assigned areas at Las Vegas, NM Campus. The role requires evening, weekend, holidays, odd hours, and emergency call coverage, with emphasis on reliability and English communication.

The position is full- or part-time on-site; pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with regular attendance emphasized. Training and safety procedures will be provided, including handling cleaning chemicals and operating

Responsibilities

Position Summary

SUMMARY : This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment for assigned areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

Vacuuming, sweeping, and emptying trash receptacles; Cleans fixtures, blinds, pictures, shelves, drapes and ashtrays; Wash windows, restrooms and kitchenettes, employee lounges, porches, entryways, walls, doors, and windows as needed; Move furniture; Refills toilet supplies in restrooms and hand sanitizer units as needed; Shampoo carpets, strips and waxes floors, as required; Shovels snow in entryways as required; Mop floors on a regular basis; Serves on an on-call list to assist with emergency cleanups; Maintain regular attendance; Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, odd hours, and emergency calls. Must be able to speak and write in English.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction; Knowledge in properly handling hazardous chemicals and materials; Knowledge in proper cleaning techniques; Ability to use a ladder and operate cleaning equipment (burnishes, buffers, etc.); Knowledge of safety procedures; Ability to read and write effectively.
