Superior Cleaning Solutions LLC is seeking a motivated Custodian Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in the Chicago, IL area. This role offers ownership of facility cleanliness operations and opportunities to mentor a crew.

You will supervise staff, inspect facilities, manage workloads, and ensure OSHA safety standards are followed, while communicating with clients and management to meet service expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lead a team with professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule custodial staff to ensure efficient daily operations
• Inspect facilities to verify cleaning standards and quality control are consistently met
• Assign cleaning tasks and manage workloads across multiple areas or sites
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and janitorial products
• Enforce proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols (OSHA compliance)
• Address and resolve facility maintenance or cleanliness issues in a timely manner
• Communicate with clients and management regarding service expectations and feedback
