Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Customer Service Rep Lead in Chicago to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and guide custodial staff under the Custodial Supervisor.

Responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, scheduling, training, operating cleaning equipment, managing supplies, conducting inspections, and reporting incidents. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years related experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals and other documents.
• Ability to lead and direct custodial staff as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supplies inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior, then report to supervisor.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
