Position Details

Cumberland Valley School District currently has an 8-hour per day, Custodian Supervisor II position available.

The Job Entails

1. Maintain assigned facilities in operation by providing clean, sanitary building conditions and neat, well-trimmed grounds.
2. Supervise and evaluate District Custodians to ensure District Properties are clean as per the District Schedule.
3. Prepare and staff the physical plant for all District-approved activities throughout the week.

Qualifications and Skills

The essential functions require adaptability, flexibility, teamwork, self-motivation, effective communication in English (oral and written), basic arithmetic skills, safety awareness, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment. Also, maintain minimal records to meet school and regulatory requirements and respect colleagues' and students' rights.

Minimum Requirements

• Supervisory experience
• Custodial experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Additional Requirements

• Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (less than one year old)
• TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
• Physical exam (if applicable, less than 1 year old)
