University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Custodian in Student Services and Housing to maintain assigned buildings in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. The role reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and requires regular attendance as an essential function of the job.
The position covers routine daily maintenance, teamwork on special custodial projects, and adherence to safety rules. Overtime functions in University Housing facilities are included.

The department of Student Services and Housing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Custodian (FP019).
This position is responsible for custodial duties in assigned areas of UW-Whitewater buildings and maintaining these areas in a safe and sanitary condition. This position reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and may work under the guidance of a Custodian Lead. All duties are to be performed in accordance with organizational beliefs and values. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
This position is designated at Level 1 for risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. All established safety rules and regulations must be followed and personal protective equipment must be worn when performing job duties requiring their use. Employees will actively participate in following applicable safety rules and regulations, including necessary training and drills.
This position participates in the University Housing – Facilities Custodial overtime functions.

Well‑qualified candidates can expect a starting hourly wage of $17.00 commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.
