ServiceFM (SFM) in the Brentwood area seeks a dependable Custodian to perform general cleaning and floor care in an educational facility. You will help provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and the flexibility to support school events. The position offers 20+ hours per week (Mon-Fri 10:00 am–2:00 pm) with potential additional hours for special events.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint-based background check required for school employment.
• Ability to perform physical work: walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic smartphone or computer skills to record work hours.
• Ability to work in a smoke-free, tobacco-free and drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, doors, and other interior surfaces.
• Remove debris from building entrances and surrounding grounds.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, and furniture for school events.
• Perform periodic floor care and carpet maintenance during school breaks.
• Perform porter duties, including moving boxes, furniture, and supplies, and completing other assigned tasks as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures, cleaning standards, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and dry mop floors.

Compensation:

• $18.00 per hour
