Job Details

Fortis Native Group LLC is hiring Custodians for our FAA contract in Southern California.

Custodian Job Duties

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.
• Empty and wash garbage bins and manage recycling procedures.
• Assist in setting up facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.
• Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to ensure safety.
• Secure building and doors when not in use.
• Follow instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards.

Requirements

• Must pass a stringent Federal Background Check.
• Ability to perform tasks such as moving, carrying, and storing items.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, kneel, reach, etc., for cleaning tasks.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Reliability and willingness to perform daily tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

$17.75 per hour plus $4.93 per hour (up to 40 hours/week) for Health and Welfare benefits. Unused benefits contribute to your paycheck. Following directions and physical capacity are essential for this physically demanding role.
