The YMCA of Orange County has an immediate need for a Custodian at our Laguna Niguel YMCA. This part-time position involves custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, floor finishing and buffing, carpet cleaning, and restroom sanitation. Responsibilities include inspecting the facility and equipment, maintaining custodial supplies, and executing minor repairs. The work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Responsibilities/Duties

1. Perform custodial tasks including dusting, mopping, buffing floors, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning/restocking restrooms with attention to detail.
2. Maintain and restock custodial supplies like soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash liners.
3. Clean windows, mirrors, gym equipment, and fans.
4. Dust interior plants.
5. Inspect facilities and equipment, report maintenance needs.
6. Prepare cleaning solutions following instructions and safety procedures.
7. Follow safety and health regulations, enforce safety standards.
8. Identify and report minor repairs.
9. Perform all duties professionally and ethically.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience & Background

• Custodian experience preferred.
