This is a part-time position responsible for cleaning the physical structures, yard, and dock areas of the facility to maintain an attractive, clean work environment.

Essential Functions

1. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust entire office area
2. Empty trash
3. Clean restrooms
4. Perform general yard work (cleaning, trash pickup, grass cutting, garden maintenance)
5. Maintain parking areas to keep free of trash
6. Clean dock and dock apron
7. Perform minor building repairs and painting as needed
8. Change light bulbs in office and dock areas
9. Replace air conditioner filters
10. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good cleaning techniques and floor buffing skills
• Professional interaction with customers and coworkers
• Good organizational skills
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and push/pull custodial equipment
• Good chemical awareness
• Ability to follow instructions and complete training
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

• Stand or walk for eight hours and perform light lifting
• Exposure to climate conditions and irritants such as chemicals and dust
