Join to apply for the Custodian - Part-time Evenings role at Hanover Public School District

This position is year-round, part-time, working 4 hours per day, from 3:15 PM to 7:15 PM. The custodian is responsible for completing work tasks that ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at Washington Elementary.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour minimum. The starting rate is based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in custodian work preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of various cleaning chemicals
• Valid driver's license

Physical Demands

• Ability to reach above and below the waist
• Use fingers to pick, feel, and grasp objects
• Use both hands for repetitive motions
• Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, climb, and crawl
• Lift or carry supplies weighing 25 lbs or more
• Stand or walk for approximately 80% of the workday

Work Environment

• External environment subject to temperatures below 32°F or above 100°F
• Exposure to outdoor conditions and potentially hazardous materials
