Job summary

NORTH ARLINGTON SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance duties for the school facilities. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and strong communication skills, with preferred experience in custodial work and knowledge of cleaning equipment.

The position includes preventive maintenance, routine cleaning tasks, and responsibilities assigned by the Building Principal.

• Knowledge of cleaning and operation of cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of building and grounds, sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, scrubbing, washing, cleaning, buffing.

• Additional responsibilities assigned by Building Principal.

Responsibilities

Preventive maintenance of building and grounds area, sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, scrubbing, washing, cleaning, buffing, disposing of refuse, cleaning walkways. Additional responsibilities assigned by the Building Principal.

Black Seal License preferred; CDL License with Passenger/School Bus endorsement (both must be obtained within 6 months of employment).

Custodial Salary Guide: $45,000-$67,930. Entitled to benefits consistent with NAEA contract
