Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc. is now enrolling in our AbilityOne Program, offering on-the-job training and job placements on military bases and federal facilities. No experience? No worries—we train you!

Your impact includes cleaning and sanitizing varied buildings, reporting hazards, and supporting skill development with on-site case managers. An 18-month training position with free training is provided to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Must meet required security clearances.
• Proof of disability letter from a doctor acceptable, not detailing medical history.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Open to applicants without a college diploma.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize a variety of buildings on a designated federal site, including restrooms and offices.
• Keep equipment clean and report malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Provide dusting, restroom, office, and classroom cleaning as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following procedures and safety rules.
• Complete related assignments to support the mission.

Your Impact:

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing a variety of buildings on a designated federal site, including but not limited to restrooms, bathrooms, and offices using established procedures and practices.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the Supervisor.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as, dusting, routine restroom, office, and classroom cleaning.
• Committed to maintaining a safe working environment by always following safety procedures and requirements.
• Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• Must be able to meet all required security clearances.
• Applicants must be qualified for the job (have the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the required duties) and demonstrateproof of disability (Proof of disability can be satisfied with a simple letter stating that you have a disability from your doctor, a licensed medical professional, a licensed rehabilitation professional, or any entity that issues or provides disability benefits. The letter does not need to detail your medical history, or your need for an accommodation).
• Ability to perform constant physical labor and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, with or without accommodations.
