Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc. in Hinesville, GA is hiring a Custodian for day shift to clean and sanitize a federal site, including offices and restrooms. This full-time role supports the AbilityOne program and offers on-site case managers to assist skill development.

We provide a 18-month training position with free training and placement, with opportunities to work on military bases and federal buildings, guided by a dedicated Training Specialist.

Qualifications

• Must meet all required security clearances.
• Able to perform constant physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Military-experienced candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing a variety of buildings on a designated federal site, including restrooms, bathrooms, and offices.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the Supervisor.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, routine restroom, office, and classroom cleaning.
• Committed to maintaining a safe working environment by following safety procedures and requirements.
• Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.

Your Impact:

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing a variety of buildings on a designated federal site, including but not limited to restrooms, bathrooms, and offices using established procedures and practices.

Your Qualifications:

• Must be able to meet all required security clearances.
