Neighborhood House Association is seeking a dedicated custodian to perform cleaning and custodial duties at Head Start sites and administrative offices in the San Diego area. The role includes preparing rooms for meetings, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring security by closing facilities and reporting hazards.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial experience; Pediatric First Aid and CPR must be obtained within 90 days.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Under general supervision of the Lead Custodian, performs custodial and cleaning duties at the NHA Head Start sites and administrative offices; prepares rooms and facilities for meetings; and performs related duties as assigned.

A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school, or G.E.D. equivalent; and one year of custodial experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR must be met within 90 days of employment. Must meet and maintain State law and County licensing requirements regarding employment in a childcare center (Fingerprints, TB, Physical and Immunizations).
