Custodian/Maintenance Tech

For over 75 years Cascade Pump has been a leader in Low Lift high volume Industrial water pump manufacturing. We are looking for a Custodian/Maintenance Tech.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily Checks of the Restrooms, Offices & Breaks Areas (Office & Shop) and ensures all supplies needed are stocked for the day.
• Sweeps and Mops restrooms weekly.
• Daily checks of the office area (trash cans, loads and unloads the dishwasher, maintains the patio area.
• Repairs all air line and replaces all fittings.
• Conducts monthly inspections on all fire extinguishers in the plant.
• Sweep & mop main walkways from office to Assembly

Skills Required

• Must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 25 pounds often and safely move materials more than but not limited to 2k lbs. daily VIA forklift.
• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
• Forklift Certification (Must pass operating and written test. Training will be provided by the company)
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.
• Must be able to follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
