Job summary

Mirabella Portland is seeking a Full-Time Custodian Lead to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment and to provide leadership to the Environmental Services team. The role includes leading special cleaning projects, overseeing event setup and teardown, and managing daily cleaning tasks while ensuring high customer service standards.

Pay range is $20.50–$26.24 per hour, DOE, with a Tuesday-Sunday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years custodial, housekeeping, cleaning, or related experience preferred.
• Experience providing training, coaching, or guidance to team members.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment, floor care techniques, cleaning chemicals, and green cleaning practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure events and projects are completed on schedule.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members during special cleaning projects while helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service throughout the community.
• Oversee and assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging tables, chairs, and audio/video equipment for resident and community events.
• Perform routine and specialized cleaning duties including floor care, carpet shampooing, window washing, trash removal, and common area maintenance.
• Assist with quality control, training, scheduling support, and supply management to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and professionally while supporting a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
