Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department at Indian Lodge in Fort Davis, Texas, seeks a dedicated custodian to perform journey-level cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and storage spaces, plus laundry and basic maintenance. You will monitor grounds, maintain supplies, and help prepare the lodge for events.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of custodial experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Completion of 8th grade.
• Six months of custodial or related experience.
• Must possess a valid State driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, restaurants, public areas and storage areas.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Monitor grounds for litter and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Assist with maintenance duties and safety procedures.
• Prepare lodge for seasonal holidays and events.
