Glendale Unified School District is seeking custodial maintenance staff to perform a wide variety of duties on a night shift at a middle school or a day shift at an elementary school, ensuring clean, sanitary and safe conditions.
The role may involve supervising lower level custodians, operating boilers and furnaces, inspecting for hazards, handling supplies, and assisting with events; requires one year of custodial experience and California Class C driver's license; bilingual skills are
Performs a wide variety of responsible custodial and maintenance tasks for assigned buildings and grounds in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition on a night shift at a middle school or day shift at an elementary school. May provide work direction and training to lower level custodial personnel.
Only current permanent employees in the Classified service of the Glendale Unified School District qualify to apply.
Two (2) openings:
One (1) position at Muir (day shift)
One (1) position Mann (day shift)
The eligibility list resulting from this recruitment will also be used to fill vacancies that may occur during the one-year validity period.
