Job summary

The Town of Groton Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a Custodian I position. This 40 hour/week role cleans municipal buildings and performs related duties, including mowing and snow clearing.

A High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required, plus the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate cleaning tools. Salary ranges from $21.29 to $30.40 per hour based on experience; applications due September 18, 2026.

Qualifications
