Young World Physical Education is seeking a full-time Custodian - Head Elementary in Waco, Texas. The position requires supervising custodial staff, ensuring a clean and safe environment for education. Essential tasks include implementing cleaning schedules, performing minor repairs, and adhering to safety protocols.

Supervise the campus custodial operations. Establish and follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Maintain a clean and safe working environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.
Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED certificate.
Valid Texas driver license.
Must be eligible to drive based on the Texas DPS School Transportation Guidelines.
Two (2) years of experience in custodial services preferred.
Buffer, stripper, wet and dry vacuum cleaner, electric drill, mop, broom, carpet extractor, carpet shampooer, ladder (up to 12 ft.), and any equipment associated with custodial trades.
Tobacco Free.
Maintain emotional control under stress. People intensive. Frequent interruptions. Position requires strenuous walking, climbing stairs/ladders, standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing, twisting, grasping, squeezing, reaching (including overhead). The applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. The applicant will work indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures including hot/cold temperature swings, and inclement weather. The applicant will work with chemicals, exposure to dust, and slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
