Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, and hallways.
• Participates in cleaning activities such as walls, ceilings, vents, lights, and baseboards.
• Maintains floor surfaces through dusting, scrubbing, waxing, and vacuuming.
• Dispose of all trash and manage recycling and waste properly.
• Relocate office and hospital furniture/equipment as needed.

A Brief Overview
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned area. Responsible for proper removal of trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste.

What You Will Do

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, stairwells, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: cleaning walls, ceilings, vents, lights, baseboards, windows/glass and replacing light bulbs.
• Maintains clean/neat floor surfaces as assigned. This may entail, but not limited to: dusting, buffing, scrubbing, strip/sealing, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming.
• Dispose of all trash in an appropriate manner including the pickup, boxing, shredding, and maintaining general cleanliness of trash receptacles.
• Participates in relocation of office and other general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary.

Required Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

• High School or GED Equivalent :or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
