Job Description

The purpose of this position is to "seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion." This intermediate, individual contributor role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas, including assisting with grounds, special events, or manual labor duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, public areas, and fixtures as instructed.
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, scrubbers, and power washers.
• Operate balers, shredders, aerial lifts, and forklifts.
• Perform exterior cleaning of windows and building surfaces.
• Clean carpets, upholstery, and drapes.
• Sanitize areas, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Wet mop floors and dust furnishings and fixtures.
• Dispose of trash and waste, perform emergency cleanups.
• Restock supplies, move furniture and equipment, remove leaves or snow.
• Respond to on-call responsibilities and VIP assignments as needed.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification in the use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to understand instructions and handle basic issues.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds independently, up to 100 pounds with team assistance.
• Stand, walk, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
• Work with chemicals and maintain professionalism.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency for communication and safety.
• Compliance with chemical handling regulations.

Preferred

• Two years related experience.
• Experience with project work or executive cleaning.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and background check may be required.
