Job summary

Roseville Area Schools is seeking a Custodian Cleaner for elementary campuses. Hours are Monday–Friday, 2:30–11:00 p.m., with responsibilities across district sites.

You will work with custodial staff, clean assigned areas, assist with set-ups, and contribute to a safe, clean learning environment. Must be able to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize building needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Able to work at multiple district sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas and assist with set-ups.
• Work with other custodial staff and operate independently when required.

Description

Roseville Area Schools has an opening for a Custodian Cleaner at various elementary schools. Hours are Monday-Friday, 2:30-11:00 p.m. Successful candidate will be responsible for working with other custodial staff, cleaning assigned areas, assisting with set‑ups, and various other duties; must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to plan and organize work and prioritize the needs of the building
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be a self starter: be able to recognize, analyze, develop solutions and initiate problem solving with little information or direction
• Ability to maintain regular attendance
• The employee may be required to work at various sites throughout the district as needed.

Compensation

Roseville Schools offers a full benefit package including medical, dental and retirement. Starting pay for this position is $21.83 per hour and includes shift differential pay of $60 per month for second shift positions.
