Lakeshore Global Energy FM is seeking a diligent janitorial associate to perform routine cleaning of offices and common areas at FM Orlando in Orlando, FL. You will clean and dust furniture, windows, and fixtures, move small items, and manage trash and recycling per site procedures.

The role emphasizes reliability, following instructions, and adherence to infection control practices. This on-site position requires ability to lift and carry equipment and to report safety hazards to supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or relevant commercial or office cleaning experience in lieu of diploma.
• Six (6) months of recent commercial, office, or janitorial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment, tools, supplies, and trash as required for daily operations.
• Company does an extensive background check and drug tests based on the client’s requirements

Responsabilités

• Performs routine cleaning of offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, restrooms, and other areas.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and furnishings.
• Moves small furniture, supplies, and miscellaneous as directed.
• Collects recyclables and waste; replaces liners and takes trash to designated location.
• Cleans and sanitizes surfaces; touches light switches, doors and walls.
• Vacuums floors according to schedule and traffic levels.
• Locks/unlocks doors and windows; turns off lights when rooms are unused.
• Maintains hallways and pathways clear of carts and cleaning equipment; does not leave carts unattended.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, restrooms, escalators, elevators, stairways, and other areas associated with the assigned facility.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings.
• Moves small furniture, supplies and miscellaneous as directed.
• Collects both recyclable and non-recyclable waste and replace trash cans liners. Take trash to assigned location.
• Telephones should be periodically cleaned using germicidal and cleaner disinfectants.
• Vacuums area(s) on scheduled basis and according to a level of traffic/usage
• Clean light switches, door and walls, tops of modular furniture and blinds.
• Clean and/or polish tables, benches and chairs.
• Remove cobwebs.
• Locks and unlocks doors and windows to offices and other rooms as necessary. Turns off light when rooms are unoccupied.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Reports to work on time and dressed per provided dress/uniform policies and standards
• Performs work as directed; reports to his supervisor safety hazards as appropriate.
• M maintains confidentiality according to policy.
• Follows all infection control practices including hand washing techniques.
• Custodial closets will remain locked at all times unless in use; when in use, doors should stay wide open.
• Keeps hallways and pathways clear of carts, cleaning equipment/tools; cleaning carts are not to be left unattended.
• Maintains productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
