Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dependable custodian to keep restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas clean and sanitary. You will perform routine cleaning tasks and respond to maintenance requests in a fast-paced facility.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11pm, on-site in Warren, MI. The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and the capacity to work independently to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in an office or commercial building setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, hallways, and public spaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with building policies.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and restroom products.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests from staff or management.
• Ensure floors, entryways, and high-traffic areas are kept safe.
