Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services is seeking a dependable custodian to keep office buildings and other facilities clean and well organized. You will clean restrooms, offices, lobbies, hallways, and other areas to established standards, dust furniture, wash fixtures, and replenish supplies.

This role requires good English comprehension, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a willingness to pass background checks, a drug screen, and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms, offices, and other common areas to established standards.
• Cleans and polishes light fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues to supervisor; performs other duties as assigned.

• Cleans restrooms, offices, and other common areas within the environment to established standards.
• Cleans and polishes light fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metal work.
• Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.

Other Responsibilities

• Reports any conditions requiring maintenance attention or repair to immediate supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
