Louisiana Tech University is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our Physical Plant team as a Custodian 2. In this role, you will perform experienced-level custodial work to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall physical appearance of university academic buildings, administrative facilities, and public campus spaces. You will play a vital role in keeping our campus safe, functional, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Lead worker over custodians, sweeping or vacuuming offices, Classrooms and all other work areas. Wet mop all hard floors. Clean restrooms and stock with tissue and paper towel. Empty trash containers and replace trash liners when needed. Replace light bulbs as needed and report broken light fixtures and other repairs needed. Clean entrance and remove spider webs and empty trash containers. Operates buffer/wet vac when stripping and waxing floors.
This position will be filled as a Probationary Appointment.
