Job description

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Responsibilities

1. Perform janitorial duties
2. Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
3. Operate motorized cleaning equipment
4. Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
5. Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
6. Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
7. Stop at risk behavior of others and self
8. Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
9. Perform repetitive tasks
10. Maintain clean work area
11. Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
12. Take direction and respond to supervision
13. Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
14. Fill in during staff shortage
15. Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
16. Use proper personal protective equipment
17. Present a professional appearance and conduct
18. Understand customer service and satisfaction
19. Understand reporting systems and the environment

Qualifications

• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Complete all safety and task training/certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $13.00-$14.00 per hour

Shift

• Friday - 5PM-9PM
• Saturday - 11AM-3PM
• Sunday - 5PM-9PM
