Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Warren, MI corporate office. You will clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, perform light maintenance, and ensure safety of floors and entryways.

This full-time, in-person role runs Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, at $20.00 per hour. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma and custodial experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in an office or commercial setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, hallways, and public spaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling per building policies.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and restroom products.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests from staff or management.
• Ensure floors, entryways, and high-traffic areas are kept safe.
