Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the corporate office. You will ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors by performing routine cleaning and light maintenance tasks.

The role includes cleaning restrooms and common areas, handling trash and recycling, replenishing supplies, and responding to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial or janitorial experience in an office or commercial building setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, hallways, and public spaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with building policies.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and restroom products.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests from staff or management.
• Ensure floors, entryways, and high-traffic areas are kept safe.
