Job summary

Universal Logistics in Warren, MI is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the corporate office building. You will perform routine cleaning and light maintenance to create a welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

The role is full-time, 2:30pm–11pm, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work independently with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in office building custodial work preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, hallways, and public spaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with building policies.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and restroom products.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests from staff or management.
• Ensure floors, entryways, and high-traffic areas are kept safe.
