South Brunswick Public Schools is seeking a full-time Custodian to perform cleaning and safety tasks under the Head Custodian/Principal, maintaining a healthy learning environment and controlling costs in cooperation with school administration. Duties include cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, cafeterias and walkways, snow removal, and any other tasks assigned by the building administrator.

A Black Seal license and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; custodial experience in a school

Qualificações

• Custodial experience is preferred, especially in a school setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Description:

Perform various custodial tasks as directed by Head Custodian/Principal to maintain a clean and safe learning environment, exercising prudent cost control measures in cooperation with school administration and district management. Tasks include but not limited to cleaning and dusting classrooms, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, cafeterias, walkways, snow removal, etc. Any other tasks assigned by building administrator.

Experience:

Custodial experience is preferred, especially in a school setting and ability to effectively communicate to others both orally and in writing.

Hours

9:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

Black Seal license required.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

2026 – 2027 Terms of Employment:

Base Salary: $54,250
Employment Period: Twelve (12) Months
Union Affiliation: SBSMA
