Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a part-time, non-exempt janitorial role responsible for cleaning restrooms, offices, and public areas, and performing light maintenance. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Arizona driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail all restrooms daily, ensuring that all supplies are adequately stocked.
• Clean and detail all offices and work spaces daily.
• Clean, detail and maintain all hallways free and clear of clutter.
• Clean all light fixtures, replacing light bulbs as necessary, including emergency exit lights.
• Clean and polish all baseboards.
• Set up / take down tables and chairs as directed by the Corps leadership for regular programming.
• Clean all entrance doorways, including glass and framework.
• Clean and maintain all sidewalks, parking lots, playgrounds, curbs, and courtyards; keep areas free from clutter.
• Trash cans/receptacles (inside and outside) emptied daily.
• Sweeping, vacuuming and waxing of floors.
• Dusting furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and neat to prevent fire or injury.
• Perform minor maintenance/repair tasks including replacement of light bulbs, painting, light plumbing.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by the Office Supervisor and shift leads.
• Other duties may be assigned related to the position.
