Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in production areas, break rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and offices.
• Collect and dispose of recycling materials, production waste, and general trash per protocols.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break rooms; replenish supplies.
• Conduct general warehouse and equipment cleanup at shift end.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify when restocking is needed.
• Perform light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and minor repairs.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly to supervisors.
• Prepare facility for inspections or audits and support shutdowns or deep-cleaning.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or recycling environment.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Normal work environment is a recycling plant, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.
