Job summary

Beacon Group in Pleasant Grove, UT, is seeking a reliable custodial team member for a part-time afternoon shift (Mon, Wed, Fri 1:30pm–4:30pm). You will help prepare spaces for the next day by cleaning, taking out trash, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Background check/drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to training and policies; safety and customer site rules.
• Prepare spaces for the next day by cleaning, taking out trash, dusting and organizing.
• Sweep/mop floors, vacuum carpets, clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Stock consumables in break areas and restrooms; manage access media as needed.
• Communicate professionally with building tenants and custodial leadership.

BACKGROUND

Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION

We seek a reliable and detail-oriented person to be part of our custodial team. This is a Part time position working Monday, Wednesday, Friday late afternoon - evening.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer. Training may be written, oral, computer based, or on the job training.
• Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies.
• Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, & dusting surfaces.
• Sweep / mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures.
• Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media. Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately.
• Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.
• Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.
• Candidate must have own transportation to/from work.

HOURS

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:30pm-4:30pm
