Job summary

Beacon Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a reliable Custodian to join our facilities team. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, focusing on cleaning, sanitizing restrooms, organizing spaces, and supporting daily site operations.

The ideal candidate will have own transportation, pass background checks, and uphold Beacon Group policies. Preference is given to individuals with a documented disability in line with our mission and AbilityOne participation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer.
• Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies.
• Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, & dusting surfaces.
• Sweep / mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures.
• Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media. Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately.
• Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.
• Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.
• Candidate must have own transportation to/from work.

Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION: We seek a reliable and detail-oriented person to be part of our custodial team. This is a Full-Time position working Monday-Friday 9 Am to 5:30 PM
