Qualifications

• Must be able to lift or move materials up to 35 lbs.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Exercise sound judgment and discretion in all matters including client confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work special events.
• Good command of the English language and understanding of oral or written instructions.
• Frequent walking throughout the facility with ability to walk, bend or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and high-energy environment.
• Maintaining neat and clean personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and housekeeping duties within the facility (Lobby, Restrooms, Conference Rooms, Mix Rooms, Breakroom, Offices, Kitchenettes, Interior Glass, Trash, Shop Floor, Warehouse sinks/water fountains, Supply Closets).
• Helps maintain facilities consumable inventory and organization.
• Work with facility manager on specific cleaning needs.

Custodian is responsible for keeping all areas clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, and understands the importance of a clean and welcoming space for our clients.

Essential Job Functions:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean interior glass and dust throughout the facility
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobby, common areas, mix rooms and offices
• Empty trash and restock restroom supplies
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
• Work together with facilities manager on supply reorder and organize supply
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to facilities manager
• Attention to detail and pride in your work
