Job summary

The Salvation Army A Georgia Corp in Ocala, FL is seeking a part-time custodian to keep buildings and grounds clean and orderly. You will clean bathrooms, wash and launder linens, empty trash, and assist with donation handling.

The role requires six months of janitorial experience or equivalent, no formal education required, and a valid State Driver’s License to transport items as needed. Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:00 am–2:30 pm with 30-minute lunch, totaling 28 hours weekly.

• Valid State Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors and replenishes supplies.
• Washes, folds, and stores laundry and linens.
• Empties trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds.
• Assists the public in unloading and carrying donations.
• Drives Salvation Army vehicle to pick up/deliver mail or transport passengers as needed.
