Job summary

Peterson Cat in North Bend, Oregon, seeks a part-time custodian for cleaning and upkeep of facilities. Shift is Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–6:00 pm, including floors, walls, windows, and restrooms. The role may assist up to 30% with clerical tasks such as work orders and document filing.

Job Description Peterson Cat has the immediate need for a Part-Time Custodian at our North Bend location.

Shift - Monday-Friday 2:00pm to 6:00 pm.

The Custodian is responsible for day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of one or more Peterson facilities. Depending on assignment and location, this role may occasionally assist with clerical duties for the Facilities department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sweep, mop, and scrub all floors.
• Empty trash, garbage, and recycling containers daily.
• Clean and wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Clean all restroom fixtures and refill dispensers.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and furniture.
• Complete assigned online training by the established due date(s).
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Depending on assignment and location, this role may assist up to 30% of the time with clerical duties including but not limited to reviewing maintenance work orders, document scanning and filing, email communications, and updating expense spreadsheets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a custodian, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
