Job summary

ImageFIRST is seeking a Custodian to maintain the facility and support production. You will sweep, mop, clean restrooms, dust and maintain equipment while handling basic maintenance tasks and working around cleaning chemicals. You will help move product to support production and participate in safety inspections.

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning products
• Must have basic maintenance skills
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of her ability under little or no supervision

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Provide light maintenance to equipment
• Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
• Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
• Keep production area & facilities clean and neat
• Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment
• Perform basic routine upkeep on facilities
• Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
• Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Custodian will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility or plant, and will p rovide assistance where needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats;loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
