Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in Addison, IL, is hiring for a maintenance-oriented role with early shift hours from 3:00am to 11:30am. The position pays $22.00–$27.50 per hour and involves assisting with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and PLC programs for facility machinery.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Schedule: 3:00am - 11:30am

Salary: $22.00 - $27.50 hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the installation of facility machinery
• Assist with the performance of preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
• Assist with and learn to troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
• Learn and assist with the program of PLC's
• Assist with the ordering of tools and machinery parts
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Communicate with operators and management
• Clean and maintain work area
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
• Familiar with working in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
