Job summary

Walsworth in Marceline, MO is seeking a Custodian to perform routine cleaning duties on a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm shift. You will keep offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and surrounding facilities clean and orderly, using floor scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning tools.

This role requires the ability to read and follow instructions, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors throughout the facility.

Job Summary:As a Custodian, you will perform routine duties under general direction of supervisor to keep offices, breakrooms, restrooms, buildings and plant facilities clean and orderly.Work Schedule: Monday - FridayEvening Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pmEssential Functions:Sweep, mop, wax, and polish all floors throughout the facility.Remove trash, pick up litter, and maintain clean tables and surfaces.Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and rugs, and wash windows.Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, and restock supplies.Clean kitchens and break areas, including microwaves, refrigerators, tables, and chairs.Disinfect doors, baseboards, walls, drinking fountains, and sinks.Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and coordinate with supervisor and purchasing for orders.Maintain landscaped and exterior areas by removing weeds and ensuring all outdoor spaces are clean, orderly, and visually appealing.All other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.Ability to operate power floor scrubber, buffer, and general cleaning tools.Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions/Physical Demands:Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.#INDW3
