Paycom - ATS in Waco, TX is seeking a reliable janitorial associate to maintain clean facilities and support daily operations. You will clean bathrooms, floors, windows, and common areas, and assist with meeting room setups.

Responsibilities include light grounds keeping, directing community service workers, and following safety protocols. Six months of janitorial experience and basic English skills are preferred. This role requires physical activity and daily endurance.

Qualifications

• Six months of janitorial/general maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous work.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and climb as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, and toilets; replenish supplies.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and sidewalks.
• Clean windows, dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Empty trash and manage waste containers.
• Set up meeting rooms and arrange tables and chairs.
• Perform light grounds keeping including plant watering.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for:Provides a variety of cleaning duties and maintains the building to ensure the upkeep, neatness, and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.Essential Functions:This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. The incumbent may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated in this job description.Facilities Cleaning Responsibilities (100%)Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies. Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors; sweeps sidewalks.Cleans windows; dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures. Empty trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds and cleans trash cans. Oversees and directs the work of community service workers.Assembles and moves office furniture including chairs, desks, tables, bulletin boards, etc.Assists in setting up meeting rooms; sets up tables and chairs; puts ice in glasses and sets out drinks.Other Responsibilities:Performs light grounds keeping responsibilities including watering plants as necessary.Performs other duties as assigned.Materials and Equipment:General Cleaning ToolsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of effective cleaning and sanitizing practices, general building and grounds maintenance practices and procedures including proper safety precautions.Ability to perform routine cleaning duties, minor repairs, and maintenance activities of buildings and grounds.Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools effectively and in a safe manner.Ability to follow instructions and work independently.Physical Requirements:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work.Duties are performed standing and requires squatting, climbing, bending and walking.
