Job summary

Salvation Army in Atlanta is seeking a dedicated housekeeping worker to clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, while performing floor care, window cleaning, laundry, and trash removal to maintain a neat, safe, and welcoming environment.

No formal education is required; six months of housekeeping experience is preferred. A valid State Driver’s License is requested. This is an Equal Opportunity Employer role with benefits including PTO and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies.
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops and waxes floors; sweeps sidewalks.
• Cleans windows; dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans kitchen and dining area; washes dishes; cleans and defrosts refrigerator; cleans stoves and ovens.
• Stocks and sorts pantry items.
• Washes folds, and stores laundry and linens.
• Empties trash cans regularly; collects trash from ground
