Position Details

• Type: Full Time Custodian - 2nd Shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm in the Imlay City School District
• Wage: $13.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Use approved methods and materials for cleaning and caring for the facility
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Operate floor equipment such as auto scrubbers and vacuums
• Empty trash receptacles
• Clean furniture, windows, sills, and walls
• Restock restrooms, janitorial closets, and break rooms
• Set up and clean after events
• Perform light building maintenance
• Assist with snow removal and lawn care as needed

Position Requirements

• Previous custodial/janitorial experience
• GED/High School Diploma
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Work with minimal supervision
• Pass criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
